Blackstone: Barbarians

Go back deep into Blackstone's past before it all began and experience Blackstone: Barbarians.
Featuring a unique prehistoric themed barbarian world.

Three classes to choose from:
Barbarian Warrior, Shaman or Witch Doctor.

Six tribes to choose from.
Battle it out with other tribes for domination.
Tribal warfare. Will your tribe survive?

Beautiful Jungle and Swamp Tilesets.
More gold, more weapons, more armor, level 5 start, henchmen, women in swamps! And yes, even loincloths!

That was actually a pretty good game. The only bad thing I remember was the lizard man you had to talk to and I spent hours trying to find him.

The problem was his color palette was exactly the same as the tileset.
This was back in the 256 color days, so there wasn't much of a difference.

I really enjoyed the game as well, but never completed it. I think I stopped playing after finding the secret area through a cave. I remember thinking it was cool that they were using the U6 engine for other things. I never did play the Mars game, though.

So, now, about the barbarians.... Huh?

Thats one heck of a long post for you driller. I am proud of how your coming along.

However, you need to go check you meds. You either took too much or too little and your getting a little scary.

Limited grunts. You will only be allowed 4 distinct grunt types. All other communication will have to be done by stomping, waving, pointing, gestures, and casual sub-dual violence.

Required vieing before roleplay attempts include watching "Caveman" with Ringo Starr in it about 15 times in a row, this 'should' properly put you in the spirit of it all.
Ofcourse is doesn't hurt to post on the forums " Barbarians plz plz, i ned to sea moer starter muniez and barbarians to killzorz and and and.."
This also begins to attune your mind properly for barbaric roleplay.
after posting this about 50 times, your post should look like this: " Me.. wampum, you die.. me kill great lizard.. Me find girl hit with club drag to cave.. ugh.."
Other suggested viewing to get you in the mood to become a true barbarian,
6 hours of Weather Channel viewing, without blinking should be a good starter, follow that up with some mindless documentaries on things that "nobody" understands, like " the History of flan" your mind will have begun its proper regression.
One side effect of this is no longer having proper motor skills to actually type out words like " Ughh.." and so fort, at this point you might be using a club to bash the keyboard and perhaps roasting the mouse over this new invention you just had, called the 'fire' .
These are just a few suggestions to help prepare you .
Oh, also the fastest way to liquify your brain, is by reading any book with the word "Quantum" in the title. These books are written by people that you need to bash with your club.

But, damn, you'd be able to make a fine flan with that big club o' yours.

Oooooo! Gotta add a Roman contingent to play the foil to all the barbarians. Nothing like a snooty sophisticate to make for good RP!
