The marvale island quest seems to be broken. Me and a friend have both tried to complete this quest but are not able to either secure a ship or find another transition area.

Yes he offers to take you there then nothing happens. This happens to a friend as well. With my character i had the option to bargin for 500 gold, but still no marvale.

We can get to Marvale now, but upon killing the Lich a small bag drops which cannot be interacted with. I assume this is the bag that should contain the staff. I have killed the Lich multiple times in multiple places, all bags dropped could not be interacted with and didn't even have a label over them when scrolled over with the mouse.

If that is not where the staff is supposed to be, please ignore me as I try to figure out how the quest should be completed properly.
