I just brought it up because I was wondering why people would use the class for anything OTHER than RP, as it is a pretty weak class. It seems that the major reason is for people to take it post-epic and get the epic feats, but even then I'm not sold on being a Harper Scout. Do you have any thoughts...

As they walked into the next room, they were again assaulted by spiders. The pair were able to work seamlessly in their battle against the insects. Kel would chop at their legs with his sword while Elendel would target their eyes or main body with his formidable arrows. As they progressed, Elendel n...

Elendel eagerly used the fountain to wash to spider remains from his body, and Kel followed suit. "Amazing there is fresh flowing water in such an ancient ruins," Kel stated. "I suppose it's more amazing that torches continue to burn. This place must be enchanted." "That is ...

As they approached, Kel turned to Elendel, shrugged then spun around and cut off four of the spider's legs. Surprisingly, the spider disappeared into a puff of magic, and Kel's next swipe hit thin air. "Would you stupid things stand still? What do you have to go off and teleport for?" &quo...

When they left the tower, they were again faced with the task for finding Kel a new piece of equipment. They went back to the armory, but this time Elendel decided to stay outside. Whatever the holes in his longbow and the other weapons were, he knew the dwarf wouldn't answer his questions about the...

I, personally, may or may not say something as the situation presents itself. I have found that overall people are pretty courteous about it. There are a number of people who just powergame through BSK, though, who don't care about others on the server in their quest for loot and leveling. I keep th...

Insect internal organs dripping from his knife, Kel thrust it into the dirst to quickly clean it off then resheathed the blade. Elendel was standing guard and had warded off a few beetles while Kel finished the disgusting task. After he was finished, Kel strapped the carapace to his shield in order ...

Bard Seeking Employer

I am well skilled wilth greatsword and large crossbow, and my all-purpose spellcasting and mandolin strumming perfectly complement my fine tuned voice. I have recently arrived to the keep in the hopes of capturing one of the epic stories of the mighty adventurers who come to stalk the evil of Shalna...

Kel awoke moments later, the blackness fading from his eyes and returning as a dull ache on the back of his head. He felt his helm and noticed a dent. "Elendel, what just happened?" "You fell and hit your head, Kellion." The elf ran up to him. "For a second there I thought y...

Kel was astonished at the size of the beetles. In his mind's eye he had pictured a large hive of biting beetles that at worst would cause a minor skin rash. These bugs could snap of a grown man's arm! As they followed the road north, Kel and Elendel looked to the sides of the road looking for some s...

As Elenel made his way back to the temple, he saw another flash of light from the heavens. Kel walked out of the temple rubbing his eyes. "My god! It happened again," Kel stammered as he removed his hands from his eys and went immediately for his pack. "I wonder if more random objects...

I think having paladins as a prestige class makes PERFECT sense! After all, a true warrior for a goodly god would have a blend of priest and fighter skills. Wouldn't it be nice to have the following req for paladin: Lawful Good +6 BAB Ability to cast level two divine spells +5 Persuade +5 Heal Cleav...

I'd be happy to have you. It's very much a role played experience, and my character Kel would NEVER admit he was evil (he styles himself as being quite good). Anyway, like mentioned, weve already started, so if you'd like to join, we're at lvl 5 right now and have completed the wolf, crypt, bug and ...

Behind the door was an interesting drama. A large man battled three undead with a greataxe, and as Kel stormed through the door, the man neatly cut a zombie in half. If Kel's face had been showing, others watching him may have detected a certain amount of awe at what stood at the center of the room....

On the next level, Kel made sure to keep track of Elendel. He was fairly confident that the undead coudn't penetrate his armor, but he wasn't so sure about the slight elf. "Why don't you lead, Elendel," to which Elendel nodded and stepped to the front. "I like how you were able to foc...
