Hmmm. You know... I rolled a dual dwarven war axe weilding character this weekend.. and I completed the wolf quest.. and then.. went to BSK road to nail some skellies and such. I was lvl 2. As I'm heading back to town to sell my wares.. right before the entrance point to BSK road/hamlet- a high leve...

Yeah.. me too.. Its annoying as hell.. because I figured thats where it would be and I have spent HOURS (honest) camping the pasture to find this Nactwulf...and I never have. Whenever the heartbeat message about it comes up.. I run there.. no wulf. :-( I actually saw one of the amulets in Vogon's re...

Totally agree with you here. However... no laws broken by hanging anywhere you want... but preventing lowbies from opportunity to level enmasse is plain not courteous. As well though, there are 3 pockets of spawn points up BSK road.. and when you see that happen...just move further down the road and...

Hey folks- I umm.. installed the updates... and this greatly, greatly improved the game performance, and its now very playable... with no issues (yet), on the max settings- ( My game system is a p4 2.0/1gig ram/Nvidia 7800GT card. I even installed the game on my Qosmio AV-513- thats a P4/2.0, with a...

Love- -starting at lvl 1. - module balance . Questing, mob placement and occurrence.. especially early on.. all balanced so that all classes have a good shot at earning early levels, not too easy for the fighters, not too hard for the mages. - Module design . Lots of interesting areas, lot of little...

Hey folks... I have played on 5 different servers since I began playing in January. And participated on all of their forums. I was pretty opinionated in my review of NwN2. But I like to do my homework. I checked out initial reaction on other forums. .where the DMs/Designers participate. Here's the r...

I willl not dispute the extensibilty of NWN1's visuals. I suppose the real benefit terrain-wise is that a tileset in NWN1 offers a certain number of preset tiles. NWN2 exteriors use a heightmap instead of tilesets and so you can shape your hills in ways beyond the scope of whatever tileset you down...

Well.. All I can say is the story line seems to be well written.. but you spend a ton of time watching cut-scenes.. and I mean a lot. The menus are a bit different.. and once you get used to it.. not so bad.. they ARE organized well. Leveling is super easy. Not much challenge for a barbarian. Everth...

NwN2 update
Ok folks... I left a few SCATHING reviews of how bad NwN2 was.. on other related posts... For whatever reason.. I got my courage up.. and decided to try again tonight. I noticed however, upon launching the game.. there was an update already available. After a download that took longer that downloadi...

I disagree with you, the graphics are light years ahead of NWN1, even on the lowest settings. Their is 3d grass in NWN2. Open the toolset. You can adjust the gamma settings to brighten up the game. The problem I have with NWN2 is the combat, the place where most players spend 90% of their time. It ...

Yeah.. though Viobane.. I can honestly tell you it was not fun. It just wasn't. I'm pretty new to NwN... (Jan 06).... and I can say...from the 1st moment I logged onto a PW.. (Arelith).. I was hooked. The graphics were good.. the interface was simple.. and the damn thing ran very well... it was easy...

Ok..-geez.. what the hell can I say? NwN2 ...... SUCKS!!!!! As a gamer who has better than 400 game titles in his collection.. I can tell you this was a waste. Ok.. there's the opinion... here's the detail. I run a P4 2.0, win XP, 1 gig ram, and a Nvidia 7800GT card, on a cable modem. Character Grap...
